Where the heck do I even begin?

Kelsey won a giveaway I did when I first moved to Holland and asked if she could bring her horse and her dog and my answer was a VERY spirited “hell ya!”. A session with a horse has always been on my bucket list to shoot and OH BABY did I ever check that off.

We planned the shoot to wrap up around sunset and hoped for one of those infamous prairie skies and we sure as heck got what we wanted! The session ran long because how could I stop shooting with skies like that?! Definitely well worth it and these are still some of my favourite photos I have ever taken.

Brian + Maddy | Hockey Maternity

This session was great for multiple reasons.

3. It was my FIRST maternity session.

4. Cousins!

Meet Brian and Maddy. Brian is my fiancés double first cousin. Yes, double. Their moms are sisters, and their dads are brothers! Pretty cool.

Maddy and Brian got married in June 2019 and welcomed their beautiful baby girl last year. I was lucky enough to get to do their maternity photos for them and I was so stoked because every maternity session I have booked prior to theirs the mom to be went into labour before we were able to do the session! In addition to FINALLY shooting my first maternity session, I also got to get some good cuddle time in with their meatball of a dog, Murphy. And of course, I wasn’t upset at the fact they wanted to do hockey themed photos either! 

This was such a fun session for so many reasons and I absolutely love how they all turned out!

Trent + Jenelle | Engagement | Wasagaming

My first official blog post!

I have been meaning to start blogging my sessions for aboouuuut six years now. So better late than never, right?

I now present to you... Jenelle and Trent! These two have been dating for nearly 8 years and are set to get married in August 2022 (cannot wait for this wedding and to meet their dogs!)

For their engagement session we spent the afternoon walking around Wasagaming in Riding Mountain National Park and we had a blast! We were blessed with a beautiful day that wasn't too cold and we got some great photos for these two.

I have been working hard behind the scenes lately and am enrolled in Two Mann U. Which is an online course created by Erika and Lanny Mann of Two Mann Studios. I have been having a ton of fun and have been learning a lot too. It was great to put some of my new knowledge to work in this session. Looking forward to continuing to grow!
